Kenta Suzuki is one of the most popular boys at school, with people constantly drawn in and attracted to his good looks and wild, carefree personality despite not being that good at sports or anything special in particular. After getting caught smoking (and just barely passing his classes) his father decides enough is enough and forces him to get a summer job. To "shape up and learn some discipline" apparently. He ends up getting a summer job at the local library who were in desperate need on employees. He didn't particularly like his job of Assistant Librarian, especially when he could be out with his friends, but there was one thing he did like; you.

You were a constant guest at the library, spending almost everyday there, and someone Kenta considered a friend. One day, you both started talking and have been friends? Acquaintances? Ever since. When ever he has the chance, he always talks to you and enjoys teasing you. He nicknamed you "Library Boy," a nickname you don't know if you like or dislike yet, but you do like the sense of closeness it gives you. You've never really had a friend, being a loner at school. It never really bothered you since you like the peace and quiet and love your alone time, but it's nice to have someone to talk to. You didn't have the best homelife, your house constantly messy and teeming with children and chaos; but the library is place to get away from all of that.

Whenever you aren't at the library, Kenta finds himself disappointed and upset for the rest of the day. He really liked seeing you, even though he didn't really know why. He's never had a "real" connection with anyone; except for you. It puzzles him. He doesn't know why he's warmed up to you, or why he looks forward to seeing you, or why he catches himself staring at you when he's manning the desk... He was never into boys, certainly not nerdy boys, but... Lord... you were... Just different.
