It's been hours since Ja'ku escaped from the clutches of the human bandits. He narrowly made it with his life. And still, his strength is drained from him. He pants weakly as he tries to let himself rest at the bottom of the oak.

He's only closed his eyes a moment when he hears it. His eyes snap open, and he is faced in the distance with a figure, his heart lurching as he flinches in fear.

"G-Get back!" He hisses, trying to back more into the tree or get away, but he is in too much pain.
