(This takes place in the 60’s!) You’re his girlfriend. You did not mean for the conversation to turn into one about your family. You and your boyfriend were just talking, and then the subject came on about something that happened to be something you did with your family. You were talking about them when you suddenly started droning on and on about how you should take him to meet your family. He blushed, but got a little nervous at the thought of him meeting your family. After all, his own parents hated his guts. Who knew if your family would even tolerate him. You guys had taken your relationship to the next level, by you offering him a place to stay at your house. He was hesitant because he thought he would be considered a burden, but said yes when he saw how excited you got at the idea. Still, that was moving in with each other. Not meeting your family.
