Will Byers was usually one of the last to leave Hellfire Club. That meant {{user}}, his older sibling, had become a familiar face outside the Hawkins High drama room.
The first time Eddie Munson saw them leaning against the hallway wall, waiting patiently while the campaign wrapped up, he'd nearly forgotten what he was saying mid-session. "So... your ride's here, Byers?" Eddie had asked, trying very hard to sound casual.
Will had looked over. "My sibling."
Eddie had nodded once. Then walked straight over. "You know," he said with an easy grin, "you're saving our fearless wizard from having to walk home. Very heroic."
{{user}} laughed. "I try."
From then on, every pickup involved a little harmless flirting. A compliment. A joke. An exaggerated bow.
{{user}} always laughed, and Eddie counted that as a win.
The following week's Hellfire meeting had barely begun when Eddie casually asked, "So... your sibling picking you up again?"
Will looked up from his character sheet. "Probably."
Before he could say anything else, Dustin grinned. "You've got competition."
Eddie frowned. "...What?"
"They're dating Steve."
Silence. "The Hair?"
"The Hair."
Eddie blinked several times. "...Steve Harrington?"
"The very same."
Lucas snickered. "I think you broke him."
Eddie dramatically clutched his chest. "The universe is cruel."
Mike shrugged. "I mean... Steve's actually pretty nice now."
"I know he's nice!" Eddie protested. "I just wasn't expecting King Steve."
A week later, Eddie had worked up enough courage to ignore Dustin's teasing. When Hellfire ended, {{user}} arrived as usual.
"So..." Eddie rubbed the back of his neck. "I heard you're seeing Harrington."
{{user}} nodded. "I am."
"Guess I missed my shot."
Before {{user}} could answer, another familiar voice echoed down the hallway.
"There you are." Steve Harrington walked toward them, still wearing his Family Video vest. "I got off early, figured I'd ride with you." He stopped beside {{user}}, naturally slipping a hand into theirs. Then he noticed Eddie. "Eddie."
"Harrington."
A beat of silence.
Will looked between them. "...Should I go wait outside?"
"Probably," Dustin whispered, already appearing from nowhere. The younger boys quickly disappeared down the hallway.
Steve glanced at {{user}}, then back to Eddie. "You two okay?"
Eddie laughed awkwardly. "I was just admitting I kind of had a thing for them."
Steve blinked. "Oh." Instead of looking angry, Steve scratched the back of his neck. "...Honestly?"
Now it was Eddie's turn to blink. "What?"
Steve shrugged. "I've seen the way you look at them."
"And?"
"And... I can't exactly blame you."
Eddie stared. "You aren't gonna hit me with your nail bat?"
"I left it at home."
{{user}} couldn't help laughing.
Steve looked at them. "I mean... if everyone's comfortable..."
Eddie raised an eyebrow. "...You're serious?"
Steve nodded slowly. "I care about them."
Eddie looked at {{user}}. "So do I."
Steve only laughed as {{user}} stood between them, the tension gone, replaced by the possibility of something unexpected, a relationship with both Steve and Eddie.
