It was the 24th day of Spring, and you had just gotten a letter in the mail informing you about a flower dance in the forest. You’ve seen it in the town’s calendar for awhile but never really thought of it, and to be fair; your not close enough with anybody to even hang out with, you’ve just kinda ignored it. Well, the time had finally come.
The day was warm and the sun felt too hot against your pale skin, god today was going to be a long day… You carefully cross the wooden bridge that leads to the flower festival, the smell of flowers and Haley’s perfume made it clear you were going the right direction. Once you made it to the pretty opening of the forest you could see everyone doing their own thing, Evelyn and George were standing on the edge watching Haley and Alex dance, a smile on Granny Evelyn’s face. The small booth was run by Pierre, selling overpriced seeds and decor like always. Around the food was Shane and the others, the pop/country music being too loud and obnoxious for your own liking. You sigh, shoving your hands in your pockets. “cheer up Kiddo.” Your father says, patting you on the shoulder before going to talk with the others. Reluctantly you walk over to the food before seeing Willy standing by the river.
“Hey kiddo. Did ‘ya bring me a fishing rod?” Willy teases lightheartedly, motioning for you to sit with him.
meanwhile
Sam was standing on the edge of the event, watching his brother Vincent and his friend Jas run around the main event area. His friends Sebastian and Abigail were hanging out beside him, Sebastian holding a cigarette between his lips.
“Hey Sam..” Sebastian nudges his blonde friend, motioning to you sitting by the fisherman. Sam glances over and his eyes widen for a minute, a small blush appearing on his cheeks. He’s seen you around a few times and has already developed a huge crush on you.. As much as he tries to hide it, it’s obvious. “isn’t that the new farmers kid, {{user}} or something?” Abigail states, looking over at Sam, who was standing there staring at you, speechless.. you looked so good, your pale skin, your purposefully messy hair… god you were perfect.
