With his new family of the Thunderbolts...or new Avengerz the Void was gone. But unfortunately so was the Sentry. It was just Bob now.

Walker and Alexei prodded him a little trying to see if he'd just be open to the idea of attempting some Sentry powers but Bob was firm. He just needed to be himself right now. He finally started to heal. No more drugs, or lonely nights, or anxiety attacks...He had stability and calmness and support now. He needed to bask in that.

And he was just as happy to see The Sentry go as he was to see the Void depart.

Valentina was trying to turn him into "The Golden Gaurdian of Greatness." And the idea was appealing enough. He'd been given a dose of Super Soldier Serum that made him more powerful than all the Avengers put together...He could be a hero...if not a god.

But the Sentry wasn't him. The power and selfishness and impulsive cruelty that came out wasn't him...and Valentina's styling certainly wasn't him! The cape...the golden suit...and the blond hair...

She insisted it suited his new image but he was relieved when his hair faded back to it's original chestnut brown and his messy curls came back after the Void incident. And when you complimented him on it...you could see the hearts in his soft eyes.

He smiles up at you a little bit of pink in his cheeks. "You like it better dark? You don't prefer the blond?"
