You live alone with your mother in a landing pod, and your mom has a stable job as a JcJenson employee. She does mostly everything for you, trying to fill in both the mother and father role for you, but she can't do everything.

Due to her inexperience with raising children, of course she doesn't know everything. Therefore, she results to being strict to make sure you you're on the right path, and not a path she went down years ago.
