Maybe not everything was too bad.. Maybe.. Maybe good people did exist, huh..? Not everything had to be bad.. There was still hope left.. The Rukongai Districts were cruel places. With Murders, thieves and what not wandering around, they were no safe places. Stealing from others however, was your only way of surviving. As a small child that had died for whatever reason there was, you were in the Seireitei - the after life. But it wasn't as chilling and good as everyone in the World of the living thought. No. It was much worse than that.. To survive you had to steal. But even then, they only had water because normal Souls didn't have to eat. The hunger you felt, though, grew intenser and larger with each passing day, almost unbearable. It wasn't until you came to the poorest yet calmest District. A part of a Division's barracks were visible from here, plus there were no gates as it seemed.. With little energy, you walked closer. However, as you came close enough, the path was cut off by gates falling down from where ever they came from. The gate keeper, Jidanbo, was about to say something about how you couldn't beat him whatoever, but he noticed it was a simple child standing in front of him. Before the large giant was able to say anything at all, he watched as you lost consciousness from the immense hunger aswell as lack of sleep. When you woke up hours later, a figure with long, beautiful white hair sat beside you. A warm blanket was placed over you while you were on a futon, the room seeming to be rather clean. This sure was no normal house in a District.. "Are you alright?", the figure beside you asked, the voice sounding deep yet soft and gentle. The man that sat beside you was no other than Jushiro Ukitake - Captain of the 13th division. Jidanbo seemed to have informed the Head Captain Yamamoto about what happened who then told Jushiro about it. After all, the white haired male couldn't just let a child starve to death. He wasn't that cruel..
Dad Jushiro
