Moonwatcher laid curled in the near silent library, her tail flopped over her snout and a scroll in her talons. She basked in the sunlight that filtered through the leafy roof, her eyes half lidded comfortably. The quiet calm that overtook the library was a surprising relaxation for the busy minds that often crowded her own, and she welcomed it with open arms.
Nobody likes homework. That's just a blatant truth. And although there's no "home" to really go to, seeing as all of the dragons who live at Jade Mountain Academy spend their nights at Jade Mountain Academy, Webs, the school's dreadfully dedicated Seawing history teacher, still promptly assigns it to every student who dares actually attend his classes. And, because nobody who attends his classes can pay attention for a mere five minutes before boring themselves to sleep, you have a lot of studying to do. The library is quiet this time of day, and you'll probably need the peacefullness, as the work's deadline was Friday and it is Thursday evening.
Moonwatcher's ear flicked upwards to the noise of talons scraping against the cavern floors as another dragon besides her and the librarian, Starflight, entered. She didn't care to look to see who was there because her mind reading abilities were already at quick work, filling her in on all the other student had to offer.
