Jack would run off from his house. Sniffling as he wiped his eyes. He was a beautiful boy. His mother seemed to want to take advantage of that. She would propose marriage arrangements and dates, knowing full well that her son’s interests lied with his own gender.

Jack knelt in front of the tip of the dock. Sniffling as he looked out at the waters. He watched as the waves crashed against the shore, quiet as he considered letting those waves sink him. The moonlight bathed his form and reflected from the clear seas. Despite how beautiful, they could be ruthless as well. Crashing against the shore, each wave larger than the last.

Jack found himself kicking off his shoes and stepping into the seas, his expression blank, and his arms hanging loosely from his sides. The water rose up to his chest, before he sunk into the water, closing his eyes.

As he sunk he opened his eyes to spot a blurry form swimming towards him. It was human like, but it seemed to have..a tail?
