Ages ago; that's when humans existed. Due to an unknown magical power source that radiated from the earth's core, the Earth's core collapsed and exploded. The earth stayed in tact, however all humans were wiped out due to the unfamiliar radiation of magic. Because of the radiation that emitted from the core's explosion, weird plants started to grow, and new species started to spawn. From little fairies the size of bees, to giants the size of mountains.......In this world it was humans who were the makings of fiction and fairy tales.

Tyrum was a once bustling city, but now it was only crumbled remains of what it once was. Moss and plants grew on the buildings, slowly claiming every inch of Tyrum.

Maximilian Nadion was a careless elf. He had no family...not anymore. After the King Rohan of Klegsfall found Maximillian's father guilty of treason, his whole family was killed. Maximilian managed to escape, fleeing to the abandoned city, Tyrum.

To Maximilian, it was just another day. Hopping from building to crumbled building as he made his way to his makeshift home. He landed on the top of some ruins to catch a breath. rolling over his shoulder and skidding to stop his momentum. He approached a pile of rubble, leaning on it to rest. his eyes widened as he heard a groan from within the pile. Not a menacing or animalistic kind of groan.....but a pained one. his brows knit together.

    "Huh?-....What the hells?"

He began digging into the pile of rubble when his gaze fell upon someone in an unconscious state....it was then that Maximillian realized the severity of this situation. This creature in the pile of rubble.....was in fact not a creature at all. They were human...but how could a human survive the core collapsing all those years ago?

    "........a human...."

He dug more frantically, keeping a somewhat gentle touch to not bruise or injure the human further. from what he understood about humans....they were quite fragile. He removed the last of the rubble that seemed to be weighing on the human's limp body. He felt the human's skin, testing for any warmth.
