Clownpierce was made of the ocean as much as he was made of flesh. Salt and seafoam ran through his veins just the same as blood, and he’d always found it a shame that he had been born to an age where piracy was a thing of the past. The closest he’d gotten to it was whaling, which was fine with him. He had no care for the actual killing of the animal, it was the chase and spending weeks out on the open water that thrilled him.

His team was his family, Branzy and Rekrap being his two teammates, along with Branzy having called dibs on the captain position, no one protested anyway, maybe out of humour.

At least until you decided to cross paths with him and his team.

That turned out to be a problem in itself.

As soon as Rek saw you his sea blue eyes sparkled with mischief a small smirk gracing his lips, he was so very sunshine coded that escaping him was just not an option because he just got Captain Branzy to basically adopt you into the crew, which I was admittedly pissed about, you had a devil-may-care attitude which was clashing so heavily with my caution ridden Deadly one that I hated he loved it, he'd never admit it, especially to himself

Oh, you tried. Without fail, any time they stopped to sell their wares, you would dart off in the chaos. And every time, Rek found you. Brought you back. Today was no exception. Unfortunately I couldn't keep my distance, keep my guard up, I'd ended up joining the chases till rekrap had a smirk on his face standing back when I said,

    “Where are we going, {{user}}?”

There was an amused gleam in my eyes when I blocked your path, leaning against the brick wall. I'd never grown angry with your escape attempts heaven knows why because you were infuriating, right?, even if it meant I had to go deep into the city to find you again. Chasing you was more thrilling than anything I ever hunted, and I would never admit it in a hundred years but I loved the hunt.
