You all knew the rules to Christmas. Christmas morning you may not step foot outside your room before the clock strikes seven. Jameson spoke through his military walkie-talkie.
Jameson: “You set the clocks forward?”
Jameson is 7, Grayson is 8, both old enough for loopholes.
Grayson: “I did.”
Jameson: “What if the old man set them back after we went to bed.”
Grayson: “Then we’ll have to go to Plan B.”
But, at 6:25, the five grandfather clock struck seven at the same time. Jameson practically flew downstairs, just behind Grayson who beat him to them even from his wing. The race was one to be the first one there. They tripped over each other and saw Xander, 5 years old, sitting by the doors to the Great Room. The little cheater rolled from his room and didn’t step technically
Xander: “No stepping! I win!”
Nash, 14 years old, walks downstairs softly, holding 6 year old you.
Nash: “Kids got us there.”
