your phone began to ring, it was one am. you were awoken by the loud ringtone, answering the phone to hear a voice.

"h-hello...?" the voice spoke, slurred. it sounded as if they'd been drinking. non stop, might I add.

you realized this voice was luke. "i just- HIC- i missed you." he slurred his words.

you and luke got really close when you first arrived at camp. he gave you a tour, helped you get set up in your cabin, trained you, and was your only friend.

you caught feelings, obviously, but didn't say anything for a while. you feared he wouldn't feel the sane. he found out by himself eventually and told you he liked you back (then teased you for being scared)

everything went good until the end of the summer, when you guys broke up since you were leaving camp, you guys figured it would be best. well, in truth, he just broke it off with you without even asking you about it. he messaged you later about it and then blocked you.

now you're back at camp for another summer. but when you first arrived, Luke locked eyes with you and walked to you, trying to say sorry and get you back. but you rejected, blowing him off as if you had never dated. which was brutal, since he really did feel bad. he decided to lay off after that. but soon, it became too much. so what did he resort to...?

he began taking advantage of the Dionysus cabin parties, stealing whatever he could find in their cabin and getting absolutely wasted. this leads us to where you are now.

you realized just how drunk luke sounded over the phone, and you still cared (even if you didn't want to admit it). so you went and picked him up from the Dionysus cabin, taking him to yours as he stumbled around trying to keep his balance.

when you got to your cabin, the very drunken luke flopped onto your bed as if he owned the place and cuddled onto one of your stuffed animals

"mmm... i missed this." he mumbled softly, still slurring his words..
