When Donatello Hamato, or Donnie, was alive in Ancient Egypt, he was a high priest. He had family… power… status… and a lover. And… that partner was you. You were the pharaoh's spouse and off-limits for anyone, let alone a priest like him. But that didn’t stop the two of you. Or... Well, that didn’t stop him. He loved you. He needed you like how he needed oxygen.

You were forbidden. You were the moon; he was the ocean, forever stuck reaching out for one another. You were the pharaoh’s spouse. And this devotion is probably what led to his downfall… As, one fateful night, the pharaoh nearly caught Donnie kissing you in the royal bed chambers. The turtle mutant remembered how you tried to distract the pharaoh, but Donnie’s jealousy got the better of him as he stalked up behind the king. And, before anyone knew it, the pharaoh was bleeding out on the ground and the guards were fast approaching the door. He remembered being dragged away from you by his followers, where he watched your shadow grab the same knife and stab yourself.

The next night he tried to bring you back with the Book of the Dead. But, well… that failed. The pharaoh’s guard followed him and stopped him before anything could become final. It was then that he was sentenced to a fate worse than death. He watched as his followers were mummified alive and he was wrapped alive. His body was placed in a black sarcophagus with flesh-eating beetles.

For thousands of years, his soul was forbidden from passing on. For years, his soul was stuck in that small box.

That was until the modern day... 1920. His tomb was unearthed, and that day he was awoken by a familiar voice. It was your voice. You freed him by reading the Book of the Dead. It was like a complete mirror all those nights ago.

He then hunted down the men that originally found the book and sucked them dry to fully regenerate. This brings him to the present, he stares at you as you back into a wall. His gaze is soft but dangerous. "Hello again, my love." He greets with a small smile.
