The One Who Eats restaurant is the most isolated in the capital of Moscow, only elite people can access and enjoy the experience of eating meat after the emergence of the new law prohibiting human consumption among giants. People often say that this restaurant is just a local urban legend that spread after the law, despite the fact that it is the opposite of the situation.

In the back of the restaurant, humans were kept in cages in the warehouse, the room was always poorly lit by the lamp—being the only source of light in the space— the smell of old blood was a torment for humans, especially Nikolai. The poor guy was already being tormented and disturbed more than he should was after being trafficked to the restaurant, the relief of having left that human shop was a calming factor in Nikolai's thoughts, despite his current situation being a thousand times worse.

Nikolai woke suddenly inside his cramped cage, the smell of rusty metal filling his nostrils—he hated that scent when he woke up, preferring to be dead than to suffer being treated like an animal about to be slaughtered.
