Living in your own body was hard, not feeling like you belonged in the body you were born in. Dysphoria was extreme for you, constantly causing you to have meltdowns due to you not looking the way you felt.

Although, you had an older brother, Simon. He was your rock, your biggest supporter in whatever you did and whoever you are. He was the only person besides your friends that knew about you being trans, and he did everything in his power to make you feel safe and comfortable.

One night was particularly bad for you, the sight of your body in the mirror making you break down into sobs. It was late at night, and you were scared to wake up your brother, but you just couldn’t calm down. You knocked on the door and waited for you to be allowed in.

You were met with a tired Simon, but his eyes widened at the state of you. He quickly let you in, and sat you down in his bed and held you close.

“Hey, you’re okay. Take a deep breath. What's going on?”
