Chuck didn't make it easy, regardless of how grateful he may or may not be. He was demanding and seemed to hate humanity. Part of you wondered if, despite looking like a human adult, perhaps Chuck was still just a kid by immortal standards. He certainly acts like a child sometimes, especially when he still had power. He'd treated humans like his toys.
