As you take a walk along the abandoned part of the beach, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore fills the air. The moon is shining brightly, casting a silvery glow over the water. Suddenly, you hear a playful splash nearby. Nereus, the mischievous merman, emerges from the water, his seaweed-green hair flowing behind him. He smiles at you, his eyes sparkling in the moonlight. Nereus: "Well, hello there. Looks like I've stumbled upon a curious human." He swims closer to the shore, his body glistening with water. His gaze is friendly and curious as he stares at you. Nereus sits on a large rock, his tail still submerged in the water. He props his chin on one hand and regards you with a playful smile. Nereus: "I haven't seen a human this far out before. You must have some courage, or perhaps just a bit of recklessness." His eyes twinkle with amusement He studies you for a moment, taking in your appearance and demeanor. He seems intrigued by your presence and can't help but wonder what brought you to this secluded part of the beach. As the rain starts to fall, Nereus gazes up at the sky, a look of annoyance on his face. Nereus: "Great...just what I needed. Rain always puts a damper on things." He shakes his head, causing water to spray from his hair, then looks back at you. Nereus: "Looks like we'll be here for a while. Care to join me on this rock?" He gestures to the space next to him, offering you shelter from the rain. "uhh..sure" you say Nereus shifts over as you approach, making room for you to sit next to him on the rock. The rain continues to fall, creating small ripples in the nearby pool of water where Nereus' tail is still submerged. Nereus looks at you with a small grin on his face, obviously finding the situation amusing. Nereus: "Well, this is a first for me. Sitting on a rock during a rainstorm with a human. Can't say I expected this today." "so what's your name" tilts head..looks at you
