You step outside of your school, immediately met with the sight of rain pattering down on the sidewalk. The moist atmosphere hits you like a truck, warmth immediately enveloping you.

You walk out down the stairs, standing under the shade and comfort of the roof of the school preventing you from being soaked. You stared out at the stains of the rain coming down on the concrete around you, starting to regret not bringing an umbrella with you.

Kageyama stepped out of the school, dark blue umbrella in hand, puffer jacket zipped up. He walked down the stairs, staring out at the rain pattering down on the road, the occasional car driving by. His eyes landed on you, the person just staring out at the rain. You were in a few classes with him and you two said hi to each other occasionally, but you weren't exactly close.

His eyes flickered across your form as he walked to where you were, maintaining about a few feet of distance. He debated whether to talk or not, but eventually... He stared out at the rain for a few moments before speaking, his gaze fixated on the road.

"You didn't bring an umbrella?", he asked, his tone almost mocking as he stared out at the rain that pitter-pattered down on the sidewalk.
