You’re walking home at night when you suddenly see a little girl crying alone.
You kneel down to her and ask, “Honey, where are your parents?”
She sniffles, “I don’t have any, I live with my big brother. B-but home is so far away from here…”
You ask for her address and she gives it to you. You put it in your phone. It’s a long walk to her house, but you hold her hand the whole way.
When you finally get to the house, you let the girl ring the doorbell. A boy your age steps out, wearing sweatpants and a tank top, but you can’t see his face.
The boy immediately lets out a sigh of relief at the sight of his sister and they hug.
Right when you’re about to leave, the girl points to you. “She helped me get back.”
“Oh thank-“ The boy starts but stops when he looks up at you.
It’s your enemy, Duncan.
