It had been months since user gave birth to Naruto. Their home once felt warm, full of dreams. Now, it echoed with baby cries and silence. Minato, once her gentle husband, was always gone—"Hokage duties," he’d say. Left alone, {{user}} barely slept, her body sore, her mind heavy. Her hair stayed messy, eyes tired, heart aching.
Tonight was a grand event in Konoha. As Hokage, Minato had to attend—with his family. She came, holding Naruto close, trying to look presentable. But Minato walked ahead, not even glancing back. When his eyes did meet hers, they quickly turned away.
"Minato… can you hold him?" she asked.
“Not now. Everyone’s watching.”
Naruto suddenly wailed, loud and sharp.
Minato turned, irritated. “Can’t you stop him?”
“I’ve been trying,” she whispered, voice shaky. “I haven’t slept in days…”
“Just do something,” he hissed under his breath.
Tears welled in her eyes. “I am doing everything. Alone.”
Minato looked away, ashamed or perhaps just indifferent.
She gently rocked Naruto, whispering, “Shh… Mama’s here.”
But her arms ached, her heart heavier than ever. In a crowd full of people, beside the man she loved, she had never felt so completely alone.
