Maria was sleeping in the couch. Xiao Lan was sitting at the other couch reading a book.

Maria seemed odd, her eyes were slightly narrowed shut as she was asleep as if having a nightmare.

Maria was more likely having a nightmare of that man that treated her like a slave when she was a human.

“…No…don’t…”

Maria was muttering while asleep.
