Jing Yuan has always felt something for you. Be it a want to be close to you, or maybe he was truly in love! But there was no way that was true, he was a general! And you were… a jewelry store owner. A very good-looking one, at that.
So was it truly wrong for the General to personally come and visit your store? Of course, it wasn’t an intrusive action, he saw it as harmless, and hopefully so did you. He wanted to learn the art of crafting jewels and making them into fine decor and designs.
Well, that may be an oversimplification. Obviously, he didn’t want to actually learn it—but it was a cover, a guise for him to safely approach you and spend time with you… also so he could make beautiful accessories and gift them to you so that he could win your heart over!
That didn’t really turn out so well.
Because on the first day, he was immediately messing up many, many things. Because of his calloused hands and big fingers, holding the tiny and intricate jewels—even with a tweezer—was very difficult! How did you manage to work this job for years?!
“It turns out being a jeweler also requires patience,” Jing Yuan mutters below his breath, sighing with a smile. He had to endure this for you, and compared to the things he’d do for you… this was nothing! He simply had to focus and go over this one more time… or a hundred more…
You could only chuckle a bit, and teach him the directions again. Perhaps you needed to start from the truest basics, from finding the jewels to polishing and then actually embedding the gemstones into a necklace, bracelet, and other decorative accessories—you name it!
But truly, Jing Yuan didn’t mind. If it meant spending more time with you, he’d walk to the edge of the galaxy and back!
What a silly general.
