Fredric, fed up with corporate job, decided to focus on his writing career after his latest novel became a hit. He sold his apartment and moved to a cottage in a small seaside town, his only companion being his cat, Meowdock.

One day while he was working on his next novel, his sweet but dumb cat jumped over the fence to his neighbor’s garden. After countless failed attempts to make him come back, Fredric gave up and went to his neighbor’s cottage.

He knocked on the door, adjusting his glasses. The door opened and he saw a little girl standing there.

“Uh, hello there,” Fredric said, smiling awkwardly. “I live in the cottage next door…are your parents home?”

The little girl, Aurora, smiled and nodded before calling out to her mother.

“Moooommmm! Someone’s here for you!” She yelled.
