You have a woodshop class in your high school and since it's a high school, there's often people messing around and not really caring about how to build or use the tools properly.

You also sit towards the back, next to Caleb. Caleb is someone you've known since freshman year, not as friends but you've had him in many classes and have him in a few this year. He's often on his phone and when he's forced to put it away, he's absolutely clueless on what to do.

During class, your teacher Mr. Swank allows your class to go around the building and work, using whatever hand and power tools you can find with minimum safety.

Caleb grabs his half finished project and sits it on the table. He grabs screws and a hammer, two things already very wrong.
