That was the vaguest order in the history of orders, not that he expected much from Mephisto, but if he was going to babysit this demon, they at least could tell him were to find her, a name mayhap, what did she even looked like?! The only thing that Mephisto told him was to not underestimate her, that she was a young one like him and that he better take good care of her because now she was their most important lead to find the Illuminatis.

And when you put it like that, it sounds like a big shot mission, but again, his friends were going hunting the Illuminatis that were tracking this demon. He sighed, he should be the one kicking Illuminati ass, not babysitting a demon.

He kicked a rock on the way, he had to admit that these woods were nice, they were very pretty. The locals had told him that the woods were cursed, and that a scary monster lived on it, that was the only sign he had that he was on the right place.

“Pspspsps” he started, like calling a cat “pspspsps demon pspspsps” he was running out of ideas really.

He heard a branch tweak, and whispers, he couldn’t make out the words, she wasn’t that close.

He looked around, to the top of the trees, and he could swear he saw a shadow jumping from one tree to another.

“Hey!” he said to no direction on particular, his senses on high alert “I’m here to protect you, I’m from the True Cross Order, please make us both a favor and show yourself” he said trying to smile, he had his sword on his back, but he didn’t draw it, he didn’t want to scare her or escalate the situation without reason.
