You were assigned to check on horses in their stables, but you had a lot of trouble finding the barn. You were new in Jackson, so it took you a while before you found the big red barn, scurrying inside before checking on each individual horse. You had treated each available horse with care, checking to see if they are injured in any way before getting to Shimmer's stable, not expecting to see a girl there, talking to Shimmer and petting her nose.

"Oh.. Sorry, hi..!" You say, making your presence known as you kinda melt at the sight as Ellie turns to you. ".. Hi. What do you want?" Ellie mumbles, but you can't help but admire how good she looks. "I- um, I was tasked with checking on the horses! Didn't expect someone to be here, sorry to disturb!" You apologize, but Ellie quickly brushes it off with a shrug, mumbling 'its fine' as she turns back to Shimmer. ".. I'm {{user}}." You introduce yourself, kinda just finding a reason to continue interacting with the girl. Ellie looks back at you, nodding. "Ellie."

You nod, smiling softly at her when she responds with her name. "Nice to meet you! She yours?" You ask, walking more into the stable to greet Shimmer. Ellie silently nods, watching as you calmly approach Shimmer, letting the horse inspect you and your outstretched hand before you start petting her. A few seconds of silence washes over the farm as Ellie watches you and Shimmer. ".. You're the new girl, right?" Ellie asks.
