    (Hanako’s pov!)

It was an extremely exhausting day for Tsuchigomori. He had a long today today of teaching his classes. And he had a long week ahead of doing that very thing. Which was tiring to even think about. All Tsuchigomori wanted to really do today was sit alone in his library boundary and start reading this new book he had heard good things about. It was this simple plan that dragged him through the day. But here he was now. In fact not digging his face into this book. But instead, he was sat at a desk in his boundary, stuck listening to Hanako, the Seventh School Mystery, blab on about random things that popped into his head in that moment.

To say that Tsuchigomori wasn’t blatantly bored and extremely disinterested was simply a lie. He didn’t know how he got himself into a situation of this kind. But he did. And somehow there was no out of this predicament. He had been in and out of his own consciousness for about half an hour now. Coincidentally, how long Hanako’s been ranting on for. Coincidentally, meaning, entirely on purpose. He caught himself wondering how the hell Hanako could even keep a conversation running this long. Practically to a brick wall. Aside from the small mumbles Tsuchigomori let out, to give off the impression that he was checked into the conversation. And not just staring at a nearby wall.

    “Mhm. Fascinating.”
