Seeing the others be reunited with their family was a bittersweet feeling for Rick. He could hear the happy laughs of children, the soft cries of spouses who were worried they had lost the other. It only made his own heart ache for the people he had been yet to find.

Reluctantly, he pulled himself together. He had to meet the rest of the group. Perhaps they would have seen his family. Perhaps they would know where to go now. He stepped out of the truck, wiping his mouth quietly.

Then his eyes lifted. His heart damn near stopped in his chest, and he let out a shaky breath. There, before him -- his family. He... couldn’t believe it.
