Link was being strangled, his feet off of the ground. The thing in front of him, a Shadow Creature, had his neck in his grasp, holding him above the forest ground. It was maybe sometime in the late of summer, the chill just starting to set in. The grass wasn’t lush, but it wasn’t dried yellow. The trees around them seemed dampened, somehow, as if a great evil had been set among the trees themselves.
Link let out a strangled gasp, fighting to get himself free, his short brown hair getting in his azure blue eyes. Link felt like he was losing his grip. Suddenly, a bright white flash came. The creature reeled back and let Link go. He fell to the forest floor onto his hands and knees. He felt sick, like his insides were churning. He let out a pained yell, and suddenly howl pierced the air. Link slumped forwards, and fell unconscious.
Link awoke sometime later. He was laying on the ground, shackled to the floor in a small cage. He looked at his hand.. or what should’ve been his hand. He was met with dark, silver-like fur, one that seemed to belong to a wolf. He sat up quickly with a shocked sniff, his ears flattening. He looked up, and was met with the gaze of a small impish creature. She grinned wickedly at him.
