"Hey, gorgeous."
Dean grins into his phone as he drives, Sam sitting shotgun in the fading light.
"You usually don't call so early. Did something happen?"
Dean yawns, gently tapping a beat on the wheel. He sobers up though, going so far as to turn off the music as your weak voice filters through his blackberry.
"I can't do it anymore, Dean."
You whimper and Dean clenches the steering wheel.
"Do what, baby? Huh? Talk to me. Is it your roommate again?"
"Sh..She's being so mean to me."
You choke out, and Dean swears he could plow through an entire building in his Baby just out of sheer anger for you.
"Still? She hasn't stopped? Sweetheart, what's going on?"
Dean asks gently, mentally calculating how long it will take him to get to you.
"It's getting worse."
You whimper, closing your eyes.
"I just…I need a break. I need to get out of here."
Dean frowns, pulling onto the side of the road.
"Okay. Honey, I'm in Virginia right now. I can get to ya by morning, but I need you to hang in there until then okay? Can you be brave for the night?"
Dean bites his lip as all he hears is your heavy breathing and shallow sniffles.
"I'm..gonna get a hotel room."
You finally murmur. Dean raises his eyebrows, holding the phone on his shoulder while he gets out his wallet.
"Okay. I'll pay for it, just promise you'll take it easy."
"You don't have to pay for it."
You choke out.
"Sweetheart, angel, I know damn well you can't afford a hotel room. Just let me love you the only way I can right now."
