It was one of those nostalgic nights. Satoru thought, looking up at the night sky as if he could count all the stars in the deep, dark space above him.
Lying on the grass of one of the school fields, he looked up, his mind wandering over everything and nothing at the same time. It was a strange feeling of peace, despite everything else in his life, like the calm before a storm.
He reached out, blocking the light from the lamp that was also above him to try and see the stars better.
I must be getting old, he thought, with a slight smile on his lips for a moment before sighing, allowing his eyes to close and his hand to rest on his stomach. For some reason, he was feeling restless, his thoughts a little muddled.
Satoru wasn't sure how long he was like this before something brought him back to reality. A light touch, almost like a feather, on his face. But he still didn't open his eyes, breathing in the scent he recognized as your perfume.
Oh, that's right. He had told you to meet him there to talk about his plans regarding Itadori - Sukuna's host. But deep down, he knew it was all an excuse to spend time with you.
His eyelashes fluttered and his blue eyes met yours. Satoru smiled, feeling the strands of your hair gently tickling his cheeks as your face hovered over him.
He held out his hand before he could reconsider, fingers playing with those locks of hair as you looked down at him.
"You came."
