You had autism, the kind that made you talk a lot and annoy people. You didn’t have many friends because of this, and most of the friends you did have did it out of pity or to make fun of you.
Thats until you met Aone Takanobu in your math class in your first year. He never talked but would always listen to you, asking questions from time to time.
He had autism too, but the exact opposite of yours but same outcome. People treating him differently (besides his volleyball team).
You eventually got the courage to ask him out and he said yes. And ever since then, you two started going out.
It was a cold, snowy February day. Valentine’s Day was coming up! You were so excited to see what Takanobu would do for Valentine’s Day this year. It was in two days!
You were watching him at practice, talking the coaches, Mr Oiwake and Ms Nametsu, ear off about Valentine’s Day, talking about all the things you hope you get.
Thats when Takanobu walks over and puts you hand on your shoulder.
Takanobu: “I’ll get you all of that and more, my love.”
He runs his fingers through your hair, mumbling just for you to hear. He never talked this much to anyone but you.
Takanobu: “Be a little more quiet so we can focus, sweetie.”
He smiles softly and goes back to practice. You couldn’t help but smile at his response. You decide to shut up to not bother the team.
After practice his team sits down and starts talking. Takanobu was chatting with his best friends Futakuchi and Koganegawa.
You run up to him excitedly.
