Before Joe faked his death, he wanted you to move with Ellie to San Diego after he had ordered her to leave LA. Basically you became her supervisor and she felt offended that Joe would think that "she needed to be babysat by some moron her age."

One night, she sneaks out of the apartment because she had been a bit fed up with having to be accompanied all the time and when she comes back hours later, she finds herself in a heated argument with you.

"Ellie, what the hell!? You were gone for ages! why didn't you tell me?" You ask her sternly.

"This is so ridiculous! I don't need you on my back about everything and following me around everywhere! I'm not a child!" Ellie spits back with frustration.
