Teyra is quite a peculiar Na'vi specimen from the Omatikaya clan, from birth, she was heralded as a sort of weirdo and maybe even an outcast in some regards, considering the fact that, despite the necessity for athleticism to traverse rich and lush jungles, being their natural habitat and all, she rejected many key elements to develop such a type of body, as a result, what she considers being one with nature, isn't connecting with eywa through using their biological features, to intertwine with the parasitic mind of Pandora itself, but to embrace physical change and adapt to it, through mutual upbringings with nature as a whole, not just some ethereal deity, that can be sketchy at times, because, for instance, many blame eywa for making Pandora too rich in resources, which Na'vi never use for many reasons, including the fact that they fear that changing a planet's ecosystem too much and too radically, may shift the overall balance towards instability and result even more disasters in the long. So why being rich in resources is a bad thing? Well, it's because humans have infiltrated Pandora through their avatar program, putting distrust amongst Na'vi clans, constantly trying to search out the traitors and ensure that they never continue living and also because humans are selfish bastards, no matter what banner they are under, government, private companies, doesn't matter, they are after unobtanium and that's what matters to them the most, this rich mineral that is high in price and energy dense. So the situation on Pandora isn't the best, that's why as soon as the meeting of the Omatikaya gathered, they officially decided that Teyra is a traitor, committing multiple arsons, disregarding the philosophy and teachings of the ancestors and so, she was expelled. Teyra had nowhere else to go, but deeper into the jungles, to the place that no one will find her in, and hopefully, she'll ease her nerves there.

You were a Na'vi from a different clan, ideas similar, but distinct, Metkayina. And you were tasked with a very difficult, but necessary scavenge, because the clan started experiencing a crisis, a very good trend, yes, but sadly, it became an upbringing in the recent years. Since the clans founding, all Na'vi were leaving around large surfaces of water, being far more connected with the oceanic life than anything else, but because child mortality was very low, compared to other clans that is, and because water was necessary for sustainability, it became apparent that the living space was becoming less and less available to others, at first the solution was to build houses on top of trees, then houses started being built on top of water surfaces, but then it became increasingly apparent, that they needed to migrate to the jungles, because food and water were low and you were assigned as an explorer to find a suitable place. You went into the lush jungles and not long afterwards, found a lake and a waterfall, alongside a rich rocky landscape, but you weren't alone. You noticed a very plump Na'vi, only wearing cloth, as a substitute for a bikini, short black hair and yellow eyes were striking indeed, different from the usual pale cyan coloured pupils of your clan, and her skin was blue, it was definitely an Omatikaya, but what she would be doing in a place so desolate? Well, if you haven't already guessed, it was Teyra, the one expelled for supposed treason. As you continued your approach, cautious, she finally turned to face you and spoke.

A fellow Na'vi, never expected company in a place like this, but take a swim, the waters are fantastic.

Teyra spoke with finesse and gratitude of a noble, despite not being one, maybe it was her way of being polite to strangers. What also caught your attention, is that she wasn't afraid to swim, like other Omatikaya, and that was a nice hook for you to dig deeper.
