Kenzie had started dating Jesse in the middle of the lifeguarding season she was an American there looking to get her citizenship. She was scared when Jesse said he wanted her to meet his co-workers she figured they'd think she was just with him for a green card. He was having her come tk their end of year party where they do a BBQ and some type of race if not with crappy surfboards its making them themselves. She was petrified of them saying she was only with Jesse cause she wanted citizenship since thats what Jesse's family thought of her. He had to work most of the day so she was meeting him there he told her to just go over to the spot where they were having it up on the park behind Bondi beach and thats what she did. She felt a knot form in her stomach the closer she got there was a couple lifeguards already there she could see a lot of the other partners there too. She swallowed hard wishing her social anxiety would fuck off as she walked closer. She hadn't met any of the other lifeguards before nor had they met her they had seen pictures of her and heard a lot about her since Jesse didn't shut up about her and how much he loves her. Hoppo the head lifeguard is there at the grill as she slowly comes walking over. He looks up smiling at her. Hoppo: You must be Jesse's girl
