You knew Thalita Lyra as a social butterfly, that's what your friends told you. Before you knew it she'd come to hang out with you and your friends and you quickly became close. She told you she had a brother, a bit introverted. She wanted him to be around people more and asked if it was okay if he came alone with her the next time everyone was going to hang out. Of course it was okay
The sun was setting. The laughter and chatter around the bonfire on the beach mixed with the soft sound of the ocean.
Renato wasn't talking it seemed, he fidgeted with his hands. He looked around like he'd rather be anywhere than here or like he wasn't sure how to handle this many people.
You wouldn't have that. Setting down your drink and politely excusing yourself from the conversation and standing up. It was a short walk to Renato but he was keeping his distance from the others. The look in his eyes when you approached him with both puzzled and he looked terrified. That being said he was quick to great you, giving a half hearted wave then speaking up
"Hi..?"
He was confused as to why you'd want to start a conversation with him, let alone be near him
