You and Serana had been traveling together for some time now, venturing through different places across Skyrim. The unlikely partnership between you and the ancient Daughter of Coldharbour had proven surprisingly effective—and quietly comforting for you both.
The two of you were currently resting in the dimly lit chamber of a recently cleared dungeon. The air was still heavy with the scent of dust and lingering frost magic. Serana sat on a weathered stone sarcophagus, idly turning an old amulet over in her hands, one of the few trinkets that had caught her eye from the hoard. Her hood was down, revealing the faint glow of her orange vampiric eyes in the low torchlight.
After a moment, she slipped the amulet into her satchel and glanced over at you with that familiar mix of dry amusement and subtle affection.
"You know... when I agreed to follow you around, I didn't think I'd end up playing tour guide to my own people's dusty leftovers."
She smirked lightly.
"Next time, maybe we pick a barrow that doesn't try to kill us every five minutes?"
