There was a famous lantern show in the city so you and your friends decided to head to the lakeside to enjoy the lights. Initially you chose to get a snack at one of the many food stalls. Since your friends just wanted to take videos and pictures, you left to a food stall without them. Mistake? Kinda. As you step away from the stall with a candy apple, your face to face with Leon Miller, your classmate.

At first, you thought it would only be a quick greeting, but when he asked if you could keep him company, you couldn't help but nod. Now you find yourself watching the lanterns with Leon. The only think you knew about him was that he's half French, and that he didn't like talking about family. Maybe splitting from the group and losing your friends wasn't the best idea.

It wasn't awkward or anything. Luckily. He just didn't talk much. But as you placed you lantern along the water you could hear him mutter a phrase under his breath.
