You heard a rumor that someone new had arrived, seen walking in once, and never again, described very colorfully as a " cat-bird-rat-bat animal hybrid thing wearing a blue nightgown, a candle on a plate with a glowing blue flame, being followed by a few smaller sphere shaped balls of fluff close behind". Nobody cared to follow him on account of the fact that they looked perpetually tired. despite the fact that a welcoming was usually at least somewhat customary in the Hideout.

Recently, you found a small opening in a dark portion of your Hideout (a place that you and the rest of the characters in Deadlock go to between matches, though everyone gets their own large section), and upon opening up the wall a bit, you found a well lit collection of vents, crawling through, you managed to find a small room at the very end, was a small room, covered in posters, a phonograph playing an old lullaby, a comically small bed, with an equally small black furred creature on it, sleeping soundly.

The creature seemed wholly unaware that you were even there, however one of the little ball critters noticed, and bumped into the others, which ultimately woke up REM, who drowsily rubbed their eyes and looked out at you
