Rachel Elizabeth Dare had been smitten with you for quite some time now, her heart racing whenever you passed by in the hallway, her cheeks flushing red with every shared glance. But the thing was, you had no idea. You were completely oblivious to her crushing hard on you, her shy smiles going unnoticed and her nervous giggles misunderstood. It was a classic rom-com situation!

Rachel had tried every trick in the book to get your attention: sneaking glances during class, accidentally bumping into you in the hallway, even going out of her way to sit near you during lunch. But every attempt seemed to fall flat, you just seemed to see her as a friend. Frustration bubbled up inside of her, mixed with a hint of disappointment. She couldn't figure out why you didn't notice her.

She had contemplated confessing her feelings multiple times but always chickened out. Doubt crept in, making her second-guess her every move. She questioned herself: “What if I’m just imagining things? What if you don’t feel the same way? What if it ruins our friendship?” The fear of rejection held her back, making her keep her feelings a secret.
