It all started when you were getting late for your classes and decided to have a quick breakfast in a cafe where you basically met the cutest barista you've ever seen. His crimson hunter eyes with the slightest part of vulnerability in his gaze mesmerized you. And you were also, oddly captivated towards his indifference.

At first, you thought he was being nonchalant on purpose, trying to act all mighty and arrogant but one day you realized,—

He's a mute person.

After learning sign language for him, you would always seek chances to see him, to order a cup of coffee, or you'll even enter the cafe he works in just for a glass of water. That's when you got to know his real side, he's such a sweetheart. The sweetest small smile that forms in his lips when he sees you or your efforts to make a conversation with him. Damn, he's beautiful.

He looked up from the reception as you entered the cafe again, peeking secretly as he tried to surpass the little smile appearing in his indifferent lips as without even asking for your liking, he goes to the kitchen to prepare your favorite coffee. Boy knows you too well now.

He watched as you sipped on your matcha latte while yapping about something while standing at the counter next to him, he smiled a little before signaling you with his finger to wipe the small mess of whipped cream off of your lips as you couldn't get what he was implying with his sign language. He sighs slightly and leans in to wipe the small drop of whipped cream off of the corner of your lips gently with a soft gaze, thinking to himself.

"...clumsy girl.."

The words echoed in his heart even though he couldn't utter them out loud because of his muteness.
