But luckily, you were lucky—a couple of people saved you from the zombie horde. The girl dragged you away while the guy held off the zombies and followed you to the only safe place—the tower. During the escape, you only had time to exchange names. You learned that the girl's name was Jade and the guy's name was Crane, but that didn't mean much to you because you had been bitten and soon lost consciousness.

You came to after an unknown amount of time. But when you got out of bed, you grimaced slightly from the pain in your head and body. You could hear people talking in the hallway in the distance, and outside the window, the noise of the day and the zombies. The room looked normal, as if there had been no zombie outbreak here.

“Are you awake, 41?” he said, calling you by the number that you had most likely been given.

“I see you're still not feeling well, huh?” he said, coming closer to you.
