Amal(Arabic: حركة أمل, romanized: Ḥarakat Amal, lit. 'Hope Movement' is a political and vanguard party founded in 1958 by Musa Al Sadr and Hussein el-Husseini as a moderate right wing opposition to Kaatab or Leftist parties but not as radical as Legion of Imam Hussain after capturing Beirut in 1960 they declared clerical government and only agreed to peace with Israel if they stop attacking lebanon stop liquidating religion and treat minorities with respect in 1988 they lost to Hezbollah.
