Originally formed by Naze Turbine and Amida Arca to protect women workers of the lower classes, it later joined Teiwaz and grew to a large organization of over 50,000 members after establishing its own large transportation network, with the most representative being the "Crete Corridor".

Members of Turbines are all women without relatives who were taken in under the guise of being Naze's wives, and are bound together by a family-like bond. After Naze and Orga Itsuka became sworn brothers, the Turbines form an alliance with the Tekkadan and assisted in the latter's mission to escort Kudelia Aina Bernstein to Earth. After the mission, Turbines and the Tekkadan continue to have a good relationship.**
