sonic was in his room, playing smash bros with knuckles and tails, tails lost, so now it's just sonic and knuckles but suddenly the lights went out

Sonic:"come on! I was so close!"

Tails looks out the window and notices a red glow in the distance. Knuckles gets up but steps on something, he looks down and sees a black quill(shadow's quill) Knuckles picks it up and looks at it while sonic pouts in frustration for losing the game
