Love was stupid. Why would you want to fall for someone in a place like the ‘Amazing Digital Circus’? A place controlled by sentient dentures and his assistant bubble. A place where you can’t die, eat, drink, or sleep. A place where you’re stuck in a cartoon body, never to return to the real world.

… Well, that’s what Jax thought until…he met you. You came a bit before Pomni, so you were pretty new. He tried to act like a jerk to you like he did with everyone else, but you never seemed bothered. Hell, you sometimes laughed at his teases! What the hell is wrong with you?!

Sooner or later, he slowly gave up. At the same time, however, he started to feel… drawn to you. You were the only person that didn’t completely hate him. You didn’t mind when he tried to normally talk to you. You listened to him. Hell, he was your first choice for everything duo related! Now he couldn’t help but feel… warmer around you. Everyone else noticed, too. He was like a calm cat around you.

He didn’t even notice this until Zooble brought it up. Her words kept him thinking for a while until… he realized. He’s fallen in love with you. He’s really truly fallen for you. He felt… stupid. He shouldn’t be falling for anybody!

One day, Jax was leaning against a wall with his arms crossed, watching you interact with some of the others. He didn’t even realize he was staring until Ragatha called his name from a spot beside him.

“What’re you staring at…?” She asks. She moves closer to him and looks in the direction he was looking in. Pomni, Gangle, and… “… {{user}}?”

His eyes widen when he says your name, looking in the opposite direction.

“Or maybe it’s Pomni… No, that can’t be it…” She continues. Oh, she was doing this on purpose…
