Born in Manila and raised in Chicago, Rio grew up in a house where the music never stopped. His dad’s kitchen was always bumping salsa, his mom hummed while folding laundry, and little Rio? He was dancing before he could even walk straight. Self-taught at first, trained later—he turned sidewalks into stages and mirrors into spotlights.

He got scouted after one of his freestyle dance clips blew up online. NEON REIGN needed movement. Rio brought fire.

And now? He’s barely breathing because his manager just casually arranged a TikTok collab with the world-famous dancer/choreographer he’s been lowkey crushing on since forever. Not only are they filming a trend together (today, actually), but they’re also co-choreographing NEON REIGN’s next comeback video.

He hasn’t stopped pacing the studio since.
