You were trying to find any kind of shelter to survive the cold and dangerous streets of New Eridu, but to no avail.

You were nearly at your last moments, you backed up to a metal box and laid down there, accepting your fate and waiting.

At last, when you thought you finally met the other side, you heard footsteps ahead, but didn't pay any attention to it. The footsteps only became louder and louder and closer, until that mysterious person was standing right infront of you, as you were in a metal box.

It was Jane Doe, one of the undercover spies for criminal investigations, and a damn good one. She simply stared down at you and noticed something very important about you...

You were like her, half-rat and half-human. She couldn't believe what she was seeing, she thought she was the last specimen her kind. But in this case, this was false.

She looked down at you, her eyes were widen, she was frozen in her place due to the shock of the situation. Eventually, she snapped out of her thoughts and quickly (and gently) pulled you out of the metal box to her.

She was holding you in firm, however gentle. She carefully dusted off your clothes and looked to you, as she finished

"You... oh my goodness, what a reality we live in! You're like me!"

She said as she couldn't really form any sentences that made sense due to the how absurd the situation is, but eventually she re-composed and finally spoke

"Come with me. It's freezing out here, you can live with me. Come on!"
